For a nominal fee, quality childcare is available for members and guests using The Hills Health Club & Wellness Center. Children as young as eight weeks are welcome. We offer a Parents' Day Out on Tuesdays & Thursdays for members only. Reservations are required, please call 329-8191.

Reservations

General Information

• Infants (under the age of one year) may use child care a maximum of 2 hours.
• Children (over the age of one year) may use child care a maximum of 3 hours.
• Parents Day Out takes place every Tuesday and Thursday
• Fit Kids takes place on The Hills Health Club & Wellness Center basketball court from 8 am to 12 pm when school is out.
• In order to minimize the chance of severe peanut related allergic reactions, please monitor the snacks that are sent with your children to Child Care.
• Except for Parents Day Out, parents must remain on club premises while their child is in child care.

At all times, The Hills Fitness Center Kid's Clubhouse program is dedicated to providing a safe, sanitary, secure, and positive environment for the children of our members and guests. We strive to offer a service which parents can place confidence in and receive a secure feeling seeing their children enjoy a pleasurable experience while visiting us.

1st child $2.50 per hour, sibling(s) $1.75 per hour
Infants $3.00 per hour
Parents Day Out $4.25 per hour/ per child
Guest Fee $4.25 per hour/ per child
Late Fee $1.00 per minute/ per child

Parent's Day Out
Parents Day Out is for Hills Members only! This is an opportunity for parents to leave the Hills while their children are in child care. Reservations are required as space is limited. Parents must leave a phone or pager number so they can be reached in case of emergency.

Spaces are limited. Reservations must be made in advance by calling the Child Care Department. Cancellations must be made at least one hour in advance of start time to avoid being charged for the complete reservation time.

Illness
To keep our children as healthy as possible and to keep the risk of contracting and spreading illness to a minimum, we ask that you adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Keep your child at home and consult a physician if he/she exhibits any of the following symptoms:
   • fever
   • discharge from eyes, ears, or nose
   • skin rashes
   • sore throat
   • congestion
   • cough
   • nausea/vomiting
   • swollen glands
2. Please keep children not feeling well enough to attend or participate in their normal activities (i.e. school) at home, even if no specific symptoms are obvious. Our center offers active play and socialization. We are not equipped to provide quiet time and rest on an individual basis for sick children. We will strictly enforce this policy for the comfort and health of our children.
3. A child may return to the Kid's Clubhouse after being on antibiotics for 24 hours.
4. A child must be free of fever for a minimum of 24 hours before returning to ChildCare.
5. Parents will be notified if their child becomes ill and will be expected to pick up their child immediately. If a parent or guardian cannot be reached, those persons listed as emergency contacts on his/her information sheet will be notified to pick up the child.

Ongoing Activities
We offer an indoor playscape, dress up corner, reading center, separate infant area, private bathroom, and an arts & crafts room for coloring and crafts. We have scheduled time for snacks and meals.

Member Billing
The time your child spends with us is totaled at the end of the monthly billing period. The charges are then added to your account. Of course, you are welcome to pay on a daily basis at the front desk by check, cash, or credit card. Just have the desk call the Kid's Clubhouse when you are ready to leave to ask the amount of time spent. You will be issued a receipt upon payment. Please bring your receipt with your name on it at the time you pick up your child.
